Scouting Reports

Nate Reid
statistically the best pitcher in WMA although not a strikeout pitcher he puts the ball in play, he throws a fastball a splitter a slider and screwball. Relying on the fastball for most of his strikes and the slider or screwball in strikeout opportunities.

Andy Reid
Andy is the best power pitcher although 15 of his 24 K's came against Tyler and Carl W in the first two games of the season. Andy has lots of movement on hisw curve and will use various arm angles he also throws a riser, sinker, and a slider variation although control has been a problem.

Jake Meizinger
Like almost the rest of the league Jake has suffered with control problems due to all the movement that he gets with a wiffle ball. He has a nasty sinker and a sinking slider. He also benefits from not having to face statistically the best batter in WMA himself. Coming off the best performance in the brief history of the MWA when he pitched 6 innings of 2 hit ball and got the shut out with 12 k's and 6 walks.

Nick Jensen
Nick has pitched two innings and allowed 18 runs 11 of them earned ouch. He doesn't really have any special pitch.

Todays pitching stat is that on average throughout the league .663% of runners who reach on a walk score and .479 of the leagues runs are scored by batters who have walked.
